    I’m writing up some information on this track and other jazz if people find it interesting..(i’m sure someone will read it!)

    I first wrote this track when i was experimenting with playing guitar (obviously!)

    at one point it was going to be used with a metal band/vocalist…but time and connections just mean it hasn’t surfaced…maybe one day i’ll make something of it..

    This is the first track that got me PROPERLY into guitars

  5. The state of the music industry

    The state of the music industry currently is a very interesting and possibly dark place.

    Musicians aren’t being paid for their roles in society, illegal downloading has helped massively push piracy into the mainstream and whilst i can say i’ve taken part in the illegal downloading…our music industry is going to change…

    I am confident that the music industry will change in a few months.

    I think what must be done are as following

    • REAL employment for musicians eg: minimum wage set for musicians, everything has got to be fair at the end of the day. if you are doing something as a living, you need to get paid for it.
    • Illegal downloads and various other jazz to  become rarer and rarer.
      at the end of the day, this is still an illegal practice..people need to start purchasing the music that they want instead of getting it for free, at the end of the day…you still have to pay an amount to use water every month?
    • less shitty pop music, won’t happen overnight. 

    I do think that this year, music industry has to have a revolution…otherwise musicians and potential talent will be forced to concentrate on crap that sells to the general public, or giving up because they can’t reach a sustainable amount.
